I dont know if anyone here knows about this, but Vans is having its annually shoe contest. What the contest is about is High Schools from around the country (US) use the Vans template to create an awesome looking shoe that has the possibility of winning 50 grand for the school's fine arts department. The students then recreate the shoe on blank shoes.
Each participating school was tasked to create 4 shoes under a broad catagory. Those catagorys are Music, Art, Action Sports, and Street Fashion. Also each school must be under a sub catagory.There are a bunch of wonderful designs this year. The top 5 finalist go directly to NY for the final judging.
So yes, my school entered the contest, and we are in the need of votes in order to win the top prize. I greatly appriciate everyone who supports us!

All you have to do is go to the site. Scroll down untill you see 'V. Sue Cleveland Hish School' click the button to select this school as your vote. Then confirm your vote at the bottem of the page. Cleveland is located in the center, if you can't find it.
My personal favorite would be my school's rivals 'Rio Rancho High School.' The design team behind Rio's shoes must have worked hard, cause these shoes are pretty epic looking. Specually the Music.

So either way, if you don't vote for Cleveland I hope you vote for Rio. Either way you would be helping Rio Rancho. (the town)
