How about in the future version making a static speed that people can walk at (so clans can stick together easily), and a run key which allows them to use the full potential of their AGI, assuming thats implemented in SOv3.
I'd say make it toggle running, as thats easier for the players then holding down a key the whole time.
I think i have suggested this before. But i don't care who really suggests it im still up to the idea.
We have a static jump and a duck jump. so why not the same for running? So yes i like the idea.
Couldn't low agi players exploit this?

Duck jump isn't static, That was the comparison he was making. And I assume the static run would be 1 agi that way it couldn't be manipulated. I agree wholly with this idea.
Ah I see, read it wrong. Anyways I can't see people using this if it set your agi to 1 just so you can all remain in a group.

Well he did not say agi but speed. just wanted to point that out.
It would still be good if it were not static. This way you could have people with high agi walk, and people with low agi run and they would be able to stay together. That makes more sense to me versus a 1 agi walk.
well no one suggested the 1 agi walk. But im not sure what you mean by not static.
What I think would be even better would be giving the player the ability to set their agi wherever they want within their stats. i.e. A player with 20 agi points could run a max of that speed, but anywhere in between also.
Well yea, but if the walk were faster than 1 agi then people with 1 agi would walk faster than they could run right? And by not static I mean based on agi, but still slower than run. So the more agi you have the faster you can walk AND run.
oh ok that make sense. I think it depends how how much faster your talking about.
I really don't see a point in walking. If i were faster than someone else and i want them to keep up, then just don't run to far ahead. Stop and wait for them. I could not think of a time that i would use the walking except in a pvp battle(Which i still wouldn't think would happen), but then the person with high agi is not getting the most of the stat points they earned.
Well agi does do more than just make you run fast.
I think we need to think of this idea the other way around. You have a normal pace you travel now and you press a key to go faster.
A lot of games have run and then a slower pace. One is for travailing and the other one is for everything else. And if you take in lings idea the other player will also get the speed benefit still.
non the less this idea was seared more tords so3. Who's knows there.

It's still taking away from what agi is mainly for.
And even switched around, i would still be running the whole time. (Unless it was a sprint for a short amount of time.)
How do you know you will be running the whole time in so3?
Also i don't think you have the concept of what i mean when i say switch it around. Insted of the key making you go slower than you are, it makes you go faster. Much faster. It probably should cost something like stamina making int worth more than it does now.
But if you don't like my idea then lings idea makes the walking better. I was trying to split that up into 2 segments. I guess that did not work well.

That's basically what i said. I would be running the whole time, UNLESS it was a sprint that runs out. (In your case use of stamina. Which is actually a good idea that i didn't think of.)
Oh ok. My bad reading. I did not see the text in the brackets at all.

So clans can stick together? As far as I know, there is no clans or particular groups of people that stick together. Everyone seems to just do there own thing.
But I guess being able to walk isn't such a bad idea... But it might just be a waste of time. Usually ideas like these don't get added. Meiun seems to only implement more content (items/monsters) rather than new features such as this.
