Just curious what you'd like to see most. SO3 Has so much potential, so I wonder what systems and features the game would have. Personally, I'd like to see some sort of crafting system. i.e two swords can combine to make one better sword. Another thing I'd like would be improved enemy A.I. So anyway, lets hear your ideas.
More nudity pls.
I'd like to see all of the community :D
As of the game, I'd like to see the new stat system and skills. Will be interesting!
I would like to see the game even happen.
lol nudity, dont think that will happen. new idea for monster boob monster
I agree with yotta, haha. If it happens i'm sure it'll please a lot of people.
I'd definitely like to see a Big seem-less world like HUGE. Some dungeons would be awesome.
Spacecraft? Just to screw up the theme?
Better PvP.
Better Stat System.
Better Clan System.

I say it like that as I don't really have an idea of exactly how I would like it. I just think that those ares could be improved.
Skills, pls. I invested 13 points in INT because I thought skills were coming T_T
What I would like to see most is definably the new map. I can't wait to see what kinds of dangers we'd have to face!
mappable key settings.

A-!@#$ing-men.
I'm pretty sure that everyone on SO is ALREADY nude, seeing as none of the stick figures are wearing clothing. Can't get much more nude than that. :P
As for what I'd like to see, skills, better stat system(so none of the stats are overpowered compared to another), and a wider range of hats and weapons as well as possibly items and clothing.
Oh yeah, and for it to actually happen before December 23, 2012.
i would like to see tons of hats weapons and monsters.
this is what i think is gonna happen about it realising.
December 23th, 2012,
Meuin:, its done!!!
5 hours later,
News:, shocking news the world is ending!!! D:!

The world will actually end on the 21st, get it right.
And personally I would love to see a giant chicken fighting a giant banana in a never ending war for reasons too complicated for the human mind to comprehend as I play.
Getting inside buildings like the hat shop and the ability to tell someone something without everyone else hearing it.
Aerial attacks. Seriously, that's what's making a sidescroller dynamic.
Stick men!
A decent trading system would suffice.
I really don't have much to say. I come up with all kinds of things I like to call 'concept work.' When the game comes out, that will be enough for me. But of course, I will get more great ideas upon seeing what all the team has done.

I'm doing a mini-necro on this topic...
I thought of something I think would be interesting to see in SOv3, idk if it's been mentioned already or not though.
Anyways, I think some sort of crafting would be cool. Instead of having monsters just drop hats and weapons, also have them drop crafting elements such as cloth, metals, etc. I was thinking it could be done for some of the stronger, more rare weapons. Also, have a blacksmith & tailor/hatmaker where they have a list of possible weapons that can be made and what crafting materials you need, and also have it cost more money for the stronger weapons. That way there's a use for the mounds of gold people seem to pile up.
Although, I dont know how difficult it would be to impliment that into stick online...
I suggested that a long while back I also think it's agreat way to add some sort of economy to the game. Especially if trade were to be implemented.

I don't mind it its just I'm not sure what parts meiun wants to put depth in the game.
But hey that's the the point of the topic. :P I'm sorry i get carried away.

We've all suggested it, or something like it, one time or another. Honestly I think the basic thing everyone wants is something to Do other than destroy and collect. It doesn't matter what it is, whether it be skills like fishing or cooking, crafting ideas like blacksmithing or tailoring, or even quests. Some sort of gameplay element where, even though the process would probably be the same (you're still whacking away at shit to get your materials), theres at least a satisfying end goal.
One thing I'd like to see someday, is an ingame PvP ranking system. The Arena would actually be srs bsns, incorporating the Stick Online PvP League website idea into the game. Players could challenge other players within a number range of their level, or Clans could challenge other clans for supremacy. The top arena players, and the players in the top guild, would get some sort of symbol above their names representing their rank. I believe as a PvP based game, Stick Online really needs something to PvP over, besides the occasional Official Tournament.

That's actually a really good concept. It would fit perfectly with the theme of SO in general. Aside from item hunting, people are mostly concerned with pvp and tournaments. Most of the game is really just a lead in to pvp. You grind to gain levels and items so that in the end you can pvp better. It's basically the "End game" content, what you do when you've almost reached max level and have nearly all the rare items.
It would be great to see that fully realized in SO3. Something literally built into the game rather than an ad hoc thing run mostly by players. There could even be a seasonal ladder system so that people had a chance every 3 months to fight to the top of the list.
To build onto clans competing in the arena, I'd love to see things for clans to actually do, something they could fight for. Originally clans would claim the mountain or wall or temple etc, but there was no real point to it besides having fun. Perhaps something along these lines. When a clan leader creates a clan, he's given a flag. This flag works very much like Zario's sign idea, where it displays the clan name above it. (Just like it does over a player, for example, <Teh Shmexies>). This flag could obviously be destroyed. Now, this could just be a visual representation of king of the hill, or it could be taken in other directions. Maybe this flag allows clan members to save it as a spawn, or perhaps when it is placed in an important area it broadcasts a message. For example, Teh Shmexies have claimed the Temple!!!
Which reminds me. The one thing I would love to see most of all, and this is in every game I play, is a base for clans. Now generally this idea is shot down immediately, saying there just isn't enough room for every single clan to have a base. But what if they were invisible? When someone joins a clan the clan leader could give them a key which allows you to, when at the correct place, press ctrl and enter the hideout. Now, we could could incorporate the flag idea into this. The flag, when held at high profile areas, could generate income into the clan vault. This money could be open to the clan to take from and add to, or perhaps the clan leader could use it to make improvements to the guild base. (But that just might be taking this idea too far, I'll stop here for now.)
Luc, make a topic in suggestions. I like where you're going with all this. It's definitely worth discussion. And I totally agree. I would love SO3 to move in the PvP and Clan vs. Clan direction.
Well, besides me becoming a mod and all...[/false hopes]
I wouldn't mind seeing an actual trade system... and actual skills for that matter.
i think trading would ruin the game because of the fact of low level players getting good weapons and hats.. IMO it would make the game too easy. i like it the way it is now

You're kidding, right? There are many low level players getting high-end weapons via slapping hard-to-kill NPCs an innumerable amount of times and getting lucky.
Besides, you can't really use a high-end weapon effectively at a low level. You still won't have the stats that make end-gamers so damn tough.
Getting a GS at lvl 1 isn't gonna help much. Especially when you can only swing it like 3 times before having to recharge your stam (a good minute or so of waiting.)
fair enough with the weapons but the hats still make my opinion the same
as well, there is only a few weapons that are like that.. what about katanas, wooden hammers or even whips

Katanas drain your stam heavily and are weaker than short swords, which are actually EASIER to get. Plus newbies don't have much stam (I believe they start with... 90? A katana use is around 10-12 stam.)
Wooden hammers are dropped by BBB's, which are found IN THE FIRST AREA OF THE GAME.
Whips are flat-out weak. They only have good range, but other than that, not much at all.
Wanna keep going? :)

I thought this was about SO3? Who knows the vast amount of weapons we will have etc, plus we all won't have high lvl chars to trade shit to our noobs right off the bat. So this won't even matter when So3 is just released. Plus, you still have to get the drops from 1 of your characters anyways.

Its not the point anyway, your ment to find the items yourself not be hand given them.. if your given a DH at level 1.. that unbalances the game

There are people with multipule BC, DH, GS, IS, Bunny ears.. they can easily just trade them wo whoever they want...
The only way i'd like trading systems if you cannot trade with someone if there is a 20 level difference or something like that

We are talking about SO3 though not SO2.

Teh Shmexies have claimed the Temple!!!
And there you have it, its still the number 1 clan on his mind ;)
But yes, on the subject of this I would like to see, trade and skills are my #1 but i'm sure that's everyone's
As people have stated, this is for SO3, not for SO2.
But either way, if you are worried about high level players handing out good items to low levels... there are several things you can do.
For one, you can put level/stat requirements on the items. Make it so only higher level players can utilize the better equipment. This doesn't mean that the equipment doesn't drop for low level players, just that they can't use it until they reach the requirements.
Second, I say if a high level player wants to give away a great item to a low level player, go for it. It is probably his loss, especially if the economy matters more in SOv3: Think about it, if gold has some good purposes, I doubt people will just give out high level items that they could easily sell for good money, or get other good items in return for them.
The best way to make trading fair is level requirements for each item. You could have a pair of bunny ears that give +2 agi and level 1 is required and then you could have a pair that gives +10 that needs level 80.
The main thing I want to see is old areas from the first two games and skills.
i wouldn't mind seeing..
- when you level up, you recover all of your hp and stamina, with maybe a happy tune as well.. the main point being more should be done for when u level.
- A falling animation
- Certain weapons that affect your speed, jump height and that makes you fall faster
So hammers make you slower, your jump height is decreased and you fall faster
-directional hits
example.. if you press s (attack) you would swing your sword above your head
:)
Level reqs on items will never be added. Meiun has mentioned that several times. I tend to agree. As mentioned, the "requirements" are kind of built into weapons already. You can't use them very effectively if you don't have enough stats. As for trading, it was already mentioned, make sure people have a good reason NOT to just give away their extra items. If someone has a rare item that they don't need, make sure there is a good reason for them to trade it for a fair value. Either gold, or another item. Basically, this is all about building up the economy (not just gold) of the game. If items have value other than using them, then people will be less likely to give them away and more likely to trade them to someone for something else of similar value that they can use.
I want some old school things. I hope they keep the GS in there. Every weapon added after GS, (Spire, IS, Slasher, Sand Sword) threw the game off.
I want PvP where you can hit people that have PvP off. I recall my first time on S.O., what Meiun had on the description was "get stronger by leveling up, and finding weapons from sticks to swords, in a perilous world where others can hunt you down!" ect. That shit was the bomb. I remember being spawn killed, but people would help you. Over here, you don't get in any kind of spawn killing, makes the game boring. You're never getting that rush of adrenaline when someone is out to kill you.
Territory. A working clan system, that lets you claim some land or building, for your own? That way we can REAL clan wars, and fight over REAL territory. Designated flags that mark your clan's color, or something.
Kill list or something, where if they kill a certain person, or monster (I suppose), you get a reward, or points you can redeem for a weapon or hat, or climb up in a ranking ladder, ect.
Point is, I really hope the PvP system is re-done. Because you have nothing after you level, and even before you hit 99, you pvp. The whole point of stat points is to PvP. Or make the game easier. But you only really use them in PvP.
I think this is off topic and should be moved to : IDEAS AND SUGGESTIONS.
I think the point of this topic is to get an idea of the types of things people want to see MOST in the new version of the game. The ideas & suggestion section is everything anyone has ever thought of for Stick Online in general.
Also DC I think your signature is a bit to large. Also 62 is the answer if you do the best answer for all questions, so really?
I agree. All that space just to show us how many baboons you can rape with a giant dildo. Oh and Tupac... (btw I can take 45 of em)
