It's just like animating with bones in 3D animation... except on a 2D surface. Mind you, I didn't watch all of the video, but the concept seems exactly the same. Pretty awesome.

Yea, and it also seems to have more practical uses as well.

They used it to correct a pieced together photo. Basically multiple pictures of a series of arches were pieced together, but because they were taken at slightly different heights, the tops of the arches were not aligned. They used this to line them up. Which is just crazy.

That's one of the unfortunate side effects of a panoramic photo.  All of them will do this, as it is just natural depth perception (or lack there of with a camera).  This is the cure, and an EXCELLENT one at that!

Do they have a date they are planning release CS5 yet? Or an approximation?\

EDIT: Nvm. Just saw in video description it is coming out in 5 days on the 12th! Sweet!

Yea, this is awesome. The other feature you posted about deals with the outside edges. With these two features (along with the already established feature that ties the multiple photos together) you can get a quality panoramic photo without much effort at all.

Probably costs more than I'd like to spend on it though... :/

Count Down to Release (http://cs5launch.adobe.com/?sdid=FDUJD&)

I'm liking the look of Content awareness fill, will save heaps of time.

Also the new function in flash to export flash files as .ipa (ipod touch/iPhone app)
