Atra knew that his physical transformation also granted him another seemingly miraculous power: the ability to survive out of the water. His gills were modified, and were strengthened to extract oxygen from the polluted air of the surface world.

However, his skills did not carry over from the water to the land. He could not use any of his water manipulation magic unless there was nearby water, and even then, the range of techniques was limited. In addition, his speed was reduced. In the ocean, the water assisted in propelling his movements. Here, there was nothing to support him, and so his speed was a bit worse than the average man.

His physical muscle and brawn, however, were still effective. He'd have to depend on these to survive.

Athulil heads Northeast. He spies the archer he encountered earlier, carving out a base in a mountain. While Athulil wants to go ahead and finish him off, he has more important matters to attend to. He'll blast the archer out of existence when he gets his hands on the crystals.
