Ehpick stares at the slow moving form. Confused, he looks behind him and sees Pat and Trogdor struggling with two blobs.

"Oh, that's why. They're still fighting the last battle." Ehpick said. Sighing, Ehpick checked his equipment for the 50th time.

Right now Party 2 also needs a player.

Trogdor and Pat both gain 20 HP and 20 SP.
However, the blobs strike them both, and Trog and Pat each lose 20 HP.

The blob shrieks in agony. It implodes into nothingness, leaving 100 XP for both Pat and Trog and the following loot:
Pat gets a Tree Branch! Yayyy!
Trogdor gets nothing.
Both players find themselves at full HP and SP as they run forward to join the other players.

"I say," Ehpick comments, "How on earth does our health and energy keep restoring randomly in this manner?"

"Forsooth," Mystery replied, "This is undoubtedly the result of some god-like being not wanting for the following battle with that mysterious approaching creature to end in death, resulting in a time rewind. That could cause the players to lose interest in the game."

All the players looked at Mystery for a short, awkward silence. Finally, Pat pipes up, "Wait...what?"

Sadly, Mystery never had time to answer the question, because the mysterious creature that had been approaching for several days suddenly leaped forward in space in a technique stunningly similar to one used in the wildly popular comedic film, Monty Python and the Holy Grail.

"OMG!" screamed Crozier. "It's a- it's a-"

SUPER BBB has attacked! It releases an earsplitting roar. Fortunately this roar should last just long enough for our heroes to equip the items of their choosing. For unspecified reasons, you can't attack this turn.
