Massive Lag Spikes?

For some reason, I'll be just minding my own business on the game, when all the sprites will freeze other than me, and they will disappear after a couple seconds. After about 10 seconds of this, everything will appear like it had just spawned and I'll hear a massive amount of hit sounds. Also, I lose all my hits when this happens. It's only on Stick-Online, so it can't be my internet connection, at least I don't believe it is. Any ideas to what's wrong?

This happens to me all of the time, I kind of stopped playing because of it.
