Does anyone still have that very old client from the beginning of SOv1. I remember that, and I'd like a copy just for the record.
On the menu it had Host and Join Buttons. It only had Bandits. There was a hatshop but it only had Fireman,  Feather, Shady, and Wizard.
There were 2 locations. The city and the forest, at the end of the city there was a guy with a newspaper asking for less boring reading material, you would walk right into the forest until you found a book. You then had to return it to the man where he would give a shady hat as thanks.

You must have a Port Forwarded router to be able to allow other players to join your game.

We need to have more people to play the game, then we will have more people posting interesting topics and ideas.  :D

I have played the first version under different names when the official server was running and it was fun with the community. Although, I doubt there would be an official host by Meiun in this case. Right now, even the host for version 2 isn't one too expensive, as Meiun has noted elsewhere. It would be nice if someone could plan a schedule for it to be up on someone's computer and then have people join at those times. I think this would be best to see who is interested in it.

Dang that version is ancient :P Really more of a "version 0" than version 1, as that one is far from an actual MMO. The next version after this one here was very similar in it's style (using a lot of the same areas, graphics, etc. even) but was actually more of a real MMO as oppose to just a 3 player game made with the old mplay. They are still both quite old though :) And no, I don't have the "official" server for this one anymore, sorry. The only real difference was that you could zone without the host anyways.

Yep. I had to look on my parents old 1998 top of the line PC. (500mHz. 32Mb Video memory diamond viper. 256 Mb ram. A legend.) and actually scrape through the hard drive to find it, I started looking for it because one day I saw some snow at a top of a mountain. And for some reason it reminded me of the first tourney when sn0w wouldn't stop snowing the players.
EDIT: What happened to sn0w anyway? I miss the guy.
