Ah what I did when I couldn't play stick online? Oh that's simple. I played Stepmania. Why? Cuz I saw this song and level and made my goal to beat it. I did eventually but today I managed to get 80% of the notes. No I don't have a video of me doing. And never will. I kinda lucked out halfway through. Nonetheless, I can still pass it with a high C and sometimes a B.

Vertex Beta made me start playing stepmania. For those of you who do not know stepmania or the song here's a video of someone beating it. Done on a keyboard, like me.

Try not to let your mouth fall off as it drops. It really isn't THAT hard to beat, perfectly perhaps, but surviving it is easier than you think, it seems to repeat several patterns in various orders that can be done by muscle memory if you "read" them in time. I managed to  pick up on em by slowing the song down and eventually the song seemed easier than it did at a glance.

Ah but if you want your mind to be blown away, this level IS available on DDR. In fact here's a brainblowing video of some1 beating it on a DDR machine.

Enjoy oh and I like opinions :D.

EDIT: Oh and here's something to blow your mind it even further. Here's a video of what seems to be who I think may be the best DDR player in the world, well I've seen him breaking other's high scores on youtube for the most uber songs ever. Here he is passing what is regarded as "the impossible song". Why is it impossible? Well simply because... well you there's this part that looks like a hold and it looks like he is holding, but in reality it's an uber amount of steps usually only possible for a Bot, (you'll know when, it happens several times too, usually on drum rolls.).

It's also 5 minutes long along with some occasional mines. I can safely say no1 will be beating his record anytime soon... unless some1 has already which I don't think they have, I'll look further into it.

Edit: Rather than starting a new thread for every song I find, I'll just edit this post and add to the links. Here's the same guy above passing a 10 minute song with over 4500 steps and the song is hard (though it doesn't look quite as hard as the songs I play on my computer to be honest, seems more of a test of stamina). I'm surprised he didn't die dancing for so long (am joking but seriously 10 minutes is absurd).

Edit: THROUGH THE FIRE AND FLAMES RAAAWR!!! He seemed to have fun. Cosmic Pope seems like a rather epic DDR player don't you think? Yet another absurd song.

I didn't know DDR/Stepmania had this much depth of technique to it, like how they position their feet as close to the center of the pad as possible to switch arrows quickly.

TheLegendTamer

I noticed that too, there are apparently lots of techniques to help one get through these kinds of songs.

DDR is played with your feet.

Stepmania can be played with a Keyboard or your feet if you have a USB dance pad.

This should probably be in the Video Games section.

Alright... w8 how do I move this stuff?

Edit: hmm, I'll just start a new thread entirely. Label it DDR/Stepmania/ITG... I suppose I should provide a link for those who want to play stepmania and the like there shouldn't I... yes.
