Is the game still active?

I remember playing this game many years ago. It's actually the very first MMO I ever played, so it holds a special place in my heart. :)

Anyway, to the point: is this game still active? How many are playing the game right now? I'm thinking about donating so I can restore my old character, provided that there's enough active people here.

It isn't extremely active currently. The donor server is mainly just there as a thanks to all the people who have donated over the years, rather than an active continuation of the game. Stick Online itself is sort of in a bit of a hibernation phase while we work on the new remade version of it. Once that is finally out things will likely come back to life.
