Account activation question.

Hey, me and my friend Beastmode donated for new accounts like we have in the past. He sent $20 directly to instead of clicking the donate now button in the donation topic.

Normally when you donate, you get an email that says "Receipt for your donation to Dustin Miller", but this time, we got an email that says "You sent a payment".
Since we paid $20, even though it wasn't considered a donation, will we still get our accounts activated? This kind of confused me. It's been 3 days and we still haven't got word of him activating them. :( I'm having lots of bad luck lately.
