Sweep Attack: Attack while ducking. It deals less damage, but it has small knock-back. With hammers it will have a larger knock-back than it has with a normal swing. The attack animation is somewhat quick. The only problem with this attack however is that it has a larger cool-down, so fast weapons can't be spammed.

Great! Can't wait to see moar. (seeing that there are options for 7-10 that aren't clickable)
"Nobody is perfect, I am nobody, therefore, I am perfect."

"When the rich wage war it's the poor who die."

They all seem to be labeled attack, is there any way to edit that to be the name of the move? Or if not, a simplified meaning of the word. Not really needed, the menu is nice though. It's better than having to wait for the moment of the move you want to see.

You said to post here with ideas. So how about throwing the sword at the target? More stam, less damage, but gives ranged attack.

[buzzkill]I personally don't think that would work. For one thing, no stick has an infinite number of GSs, so what would he have to do to get it back? Pick it up from where it landed? And another is that there's already ranged attacks for the GS in this topic(Sweep and Walk). Too many would look like rehashes. Besides, some weapons have long range(Snowball and Whip) but do low damage. This would effectively completely obsolete them.[/buzzkill]

EDIT: Oh yeah, here's a couple of ideas.

-Fake Out- W when opponent isn't attacking. It'd seem like you're attacking for a split second, but then you stop and your speed increases for a very short amount of time to get out of range of an attack if your opponent is going to hit-for-hit. It uses a very minuscule amount of stamina(say, 5 or 7 for the GS). Maybe a slightly longer cooldown than a normal attack.

-Jump Attack- S and Up at the same time. You'd jump slightly less higher than you would normally, while thrusting your sword upward for the duration of your upwards momentum. Only the first few frames would hit.

Isn't that attack 3?

That's an attack while in midair, AFTER jumping. You'd attack while jumping with this, like an uppercut.

I think it would be out of hand if we have like, 10 different attacks for a single weapon, but since this is just fun:

-Block, hold down a button and you'll hold your weapon in front of you, one hand holding the handle and the other steadying the blade at the top, and use the flat of the blade to defend

-Block-counter, while blocking, press D to kick your opponent while he's in his after-swing

I'd rather have 10 attacks per weapon and not that many of them than a single attack and tons of weapons.

Already have Parry, which is essentially the same thing as both of those.

Niiiiceee. I guess you proved him wrong about the infinite GS thing. I knew swords could be thrown like boomerangs. Hercules taught me that. :P

Chaos

Considering how Meiun wanted to make combat more player-oriented, I see these as being great ideas for different moves.  Only problem is having to make all these animations for ALL of the different weapons.
