One pushed me into nearby lava while my framerate drop, and I died double time.

I think enderman might only spawn on hard mode. At least for me.

And earlier a chest inside a abandoned mine scared the daylights out of me and my brother. It all of a suden closed after I was done looting and I thought it was some kinda mimic thing. Definantly the scariest minecraft moment for me.

The reason I had so much lag, is because my RAM chip in my laptop had become disconnected, and about 5 minutes after I had posted that picture, my computer died on me. I had my friend Gabe look at it, he fixed the RAM thing, and reinstalled the operating system because of a bug. Now it's working fine :D

I think this is a common issue with the pre-release. Wow, this build is so buggy...

Someone released a patch for it, just drop this file in the minecraft.jar in the bin folder.  (I tried it, it works)

Well duh.  That's why Notch and Jeb had yet to release 1.8.  And that's why Notch said, when it ended up leaked, that he didn't care if people played it, just to report bugs so they can fix them.

Playing on normal difficulty, I encountered them many times. So yes.

I was watching my friend try it out, and an Enderman took a cobblestone block from his house. I thought they couldn't do that?

EDIT: Someone please answer, should I start a map now or wait until the whole update has come out? Will I have to make a new map when the real 1.8 comes out?

The new terrain changes only occur on new chunks, so yeah. Start anew.
