I will agree with you that the perceived feeling of the game from past to now if different for me also. Though kinda consequence when you add and change a lot of things. :P

Yeah :c But, scratch the part where I said I didn't want dragons. The animation of them flying looks so clean, and I think they will be really cool to have flying around. And maybe you can  fly them with a saddle.

Also, when can I change my WOLF'S COLLAR COLOUR? Seriously? It's such a simply thing to add! (I think.)

My post wasn't specifically directed at FFA, mind you.  His post just set off my mini-rant.

Keep in mind that I read Notch and Jeb's twitter daily.  I'm CONSTANTLY seeing people bitch and moan every time Notch changes something or adds something, and it's really irritating.  If people want it like Alpha, if people want to spend all their time playing building blocks, they can go back to Creative and leave us people who actually want to SURVIVE in SURVIVAL mode the !@#$ alone.

So yeah, sorry FFA, no offense intended there.

Well from my understanding it's not really something to miss as it doesn't cease to exist. He is just waiting till the full release I believe before making another server, unless his plans have changed. So, really just wait about another 20 days or so? (release is 11/11/11 correct?)

No.  The game is going to continue to be updated after release.  As of yesterday, though, Minecraft is on 'Feature Freeze' until release.  All work on it from now til release is bug-fixes and optimization.

Also, is 512MB of ram enough to run the game? I gave my friend a computer, because he didn't have one. It has 512MB of ram with a single core 1.6GHz processor.

Comment : The game is unplayable. Even at minimal settings it's very laggy. Some problems might be caused by faulty hardware but not all.

So don't expect much especially since this was an early beta version and was already barely playable.

Just asking, am I the only one who still uses the hMod Legacy Canarymod? I never considered moving to Bukkit. So I loyally stuck to hMod. Plus it's what I learned to program for. So no point that going down the bin.
