NEW SO icon

When I went to click on the SO desktop icon yesterday I realised that its quite out dated and dull.
So I thought it would be a good idea to have a competition to see who can make the best SO desktop icon.

You can redo the old one and try and make it look better or you can make a completely new one.

For the longest time, I thought the "S.O" on it said 5.0. I thought it was like a version number or something.
Maybe update the icon with a Halloween Pumpkin or something for Halloween?

its probz not a good idea to make a new icon for every event i just thought it might be good for SO3 or just a new one for SO2 as the old icons been there for a while

Not to completly derail this thread or anything... But how does someone feel about turning the SO token into http://brsev.deviantart.com/art/Token-128429570 style for me? <3 Light version. Love forever.

On topic, Mystery is right. This isn't hammer online, that Icon is old, and I feel we will be getting something a bit more updated come sov3.

Yeah I like what ya got going there. My only dislike is that the top part of the border is a bit to faded for my liking, but I'm no expert on the topic.

It's not such a bad idea getting a new icon. There's nothing wrong with the current one but there isn't anything wrong with getting a new improved one. And it's only a few clicks of some buttons for Meiun if we supply the .ico file for him.
