Spam

Didn't know exactly where to put this, but is there a possibility of getting a "Spam" section in Off-Topic? I know I personally like to share random, useless, yet funny stuff. Stuff that wouldn't fit into off-topic, like stupid jokes and comments, pictures etc. Things that make people go "zzz spam" if they aren't labeled spam. Is this a bad idea? I've thought of some of the pros/cons. I'm not sure myself.

Your topic is fine here, you are suggesting addition to the Forum which is part of the game. I don't know what Forum is on about.

Anyways, I honestly wouldn't care if there was a spam section on the forum, but at the same time I don't see much purpose for one. I choose neutrality.

I moderate a forum with a section called the "spam-o-bin". It was discussed prior to creating the section for a place where people can post spontaneous ideas which did not necessarily apply to any of the other sections.. Or just for what the section was called, spam. This seemed as though it was the best idea because it was set so every group of member(Even ones banned from the other sections for breaking the rules) could view and post on it. The rules were simple on what could and could not be done, the font could not be at a size to make it needed for scrolling off the column view or page view for the post, all text alteration was allowed, 'acceptable' spam(Non-bashing/non-derogatory), and general topics for use of acknowledgment were allowed. I'm not sure sure on if any sections for this forum don't give post count, but it's a necessity if a section for spam is created. I like the idea in terms of the what the section constitutes though.

As for the topic, what for?  Why would we want 'spam' on the forum at all?

There is so much wrong in this topic that I don't know where to start, so I won't. The section is not needed, if your THAT into posting random crap, make a thread about it, and if it picks up, it picks up. Make it the "official" spam thread, similar to the Picture threads and what not. But we do not need an entire section. As for this topic, locked.
