Has anyone else ever programmed there Ti-83 or ti-84 calculators? Like you were bored in math classes and you made simple litle programs to pass the time.
Like even as simple as:
:Lbl 1
:input "",X
:Disp X+1
:goto 1

I actually made a functional game on it. i will try to put it up so you can download it.
So as i said has anyone else ever tried doing this other then me? If so post what you have made

Dear lord, the first thing I ever programmed was my 83+ in High School.  I remember how I got a TI-89 my junior year, my teacher forbid me from using it on exams because I got that thing to do way more than their standard issued 83+ was capable of, and when it came time, he never had me put it away for the exams.  Easy A!

lol me and my friend David did the same thing last year, we put all the formulas into a program and got the answers without even writing it out so we could make sure we got it right! Our teacher never even knew we did it.

I would never even THINK about cheating on a test! All my grades are my own sweat and blood!  :-X

Hey!  If I "cheated", at least I put forth the effort to facilitate acquiring the answer all on my own, and not stealing it from someone else!  Or at least that's what I would have told him!  :P

My friend used the program function for like a pathway word game (Choose your pokemon- jigglypuff or pikachu)- and so on. But i screwed it up when i tried editing :(.

Anyway you guys know where i can get a link cord? Cause i already know you need it to connect games to your calculator.

Well mine came with my calculator but,
the cord is the same type of cord to link you blackberry phone to the computer, If you a blackberry you can use that otherwise you can get them for cheap on eBay if you wanted to.(less than $2.00) Its called a Micro usb cable.

Yeah, they're strict on those in college. Can't use anything over an 84 because of that... :<

Danke, i don't have a blackberry so i will just buy the cord separately. But you sure you can use a micro usb cable and it doesn't have to be one of the cords than already comes with the calculator?

Are you seriously going to buy a blackberry just for the cord??? I'm convinced you can just buy the cord in the tech-shop and save 99.99% >_>
