What is this?
So, I am really hoping this idea works out... I am basically trying to orchestrate a community event for Stick Online players. It is readily obvious that most members of our community own and currently play Minecraft, so I hope this will spark some interest with the latter of you.

Summary:
I, with the assistance of Chaos and some other players, have composed a game similar to capture the flag entitled "Castle Wars". The game field consists of 2 identical castles on each side of a battlefield (which is located in the middle). The goal of the game is to take one of your team's records and place it in the jukebox of the enemy team's castle. Each team get's 3 records in their spawn chest, which may be taken 1 at a time, 2 at a time, or all at once (which is risky), in order to carry out their task. However be careful, the enemy team will also win if all 3 of your team's records are destroyed at any given time. To easily keep track of this, please shout out a message if you destroy an enemy teams record.

Media:
The following is a video with information about the game in addition to some screenshots of the map.

Rules:
*When teams have been chosen and the game begins, immediately go to the third floor of your castle and sleep to set your spawn. The game has not officially begun until everyone is in a bed and the server changes to daytime as a result.
*You may NOT gather any supplies until the server changes to daytime.
*You may NOT place blocks on, or walk on, the glass barrier above the arena.
*You may NOT exit the bedrock wall during a game session. This includes tunneling under or climbing over the wall.
*Respect all players and admins, use common sense, don't be an idiot, etc.
Violation of any of these rules will most likely result in the banning of your account from the game session.

Game Dates/Times: (This may very well be subject to change, but is currently the scheduled date.)

Interested?

In order to join you will need:
1) To have Hamachi Downloaded. https://secure.logmein.com/products/hamachi/download.aspx (The server can host a good number of people with no lag, but alas I cannot port forward my router.)

2) Latest Client of Minecraft with a LEGITIMATE account. (We will be playing the most up-to-date release, whether that be a prerelease or not.)

3) To make a post in this thread with your Minecraft account name- Hamachi and server information will be PMed to you.

4) Optional Download Teamspeak 3. I may choose an official team speak server for the event, more information regarding that will be given closer the event.

Hope to see this event be a success! If you have any questions feel free to ask below.

I've done something similar, but my arena was pretty small and unorganized. I'm in!

I have never used Hamachi before. Is it really easy to use?

It's not too bad, unless there are a large amount of people and the hamachi server's capacity is hit.  As far as setting it up, not bad at all.
It's essentially just a small VPN that allows users to bypass port forwarding when they don't know how to.

This goes in Video Games, no?

I thought about that, but not really no. I am discussing organizing an event, not discussing a game. I'd rather you focus more on the event than categorizing it, thanks.

That's good to hear. I know little about port forwarding, but at least I can.

*Date Changed*
Alright well as of currently I only have RayRay showing interest, so I guess I will leave it up to see if the thread catches anymore attention and if not I guess I'll call it quits.

Something about you saying "You can win by inserting your record into the enemy jukebox" turns me on.

Sounds like fun, count me in.

If I am free on the day, I'll try to make it.

TRok92 is my name.

Mystery

Sure, why not.

Count me in, IGN is EnragedDeity for those of you who can't read signatures.

Alright glad to see this is catching some interest. I will probably choose a date and send out PMs closer to the end of the month, and I will give at least a week's notice in advance to help let people plan things out.

I can't wait. But say if me and Luci get on the same team, and we insert our record disks at the same time into their jukebox. Do we get double pen... Err.. Points. I meant to say points.
