Albert explains to O' Dim and Shadowfang what happened to him. He emphasized the fact that Nadir had access to a method of creating Artificial Crystals, and that Athulil, the 'original' wielder of the 6 Crystals, had been revived, presumably through an portable Ritual of Healing that utilized the Goldum without the rune it was in, at the cost of some powers and energy he didn't gain.

"Our focus should be on finding that LAST Crystal- The Light Crystal. I went to great lengths to get information from very special sources, and I have a generalized location of where it is. But it's nowhere near exact.

It's somewhere below this general area we've been in. Deep inside the earth.

Once we get it, you can have it- without any strings attached, after I study it for a bit and try to find a method to make Artificial Crystals using it. I think I'll be able to make a Crystal that has the capabilities of finding the REAL ones that were stolen from me.

But right now, I can't move. You can go on ahead and do what you want.

However, if you follow Athulil for long enough and he seems to be obsessed with staying in a certain area, that's probably where the Light Crystal is. I don't doubt he'll be having dreams revealing its location, as old, wrathful spirits suffer from memory disturbances after being revived."
