):
EDIT: Just to clear any confusion, Super Mario Bros. was made by Shigeru Miyamoto, not Yamauchi.

Chris was paying tribute to the creator of the Nintendo Entertainment System, not the creator of the NES's most popular game.

I wish I still had mine...my dad threw it away when we moved without asking me :/ It was in perfect condition too.

What Scott said.  Without Yamauchi, there's a good possibility that video game consoles wouldn't even exist anymore.  After the video game crash of '83 with Atari, no one was interested in video games anymore, and it was largely considered a passed fad.  Then the NES changed the world.   :)

And yeah, it will be a sad, horrible day when Shigeru passes away.  A day I hope never comes.   :'(

That's a shame, Pwnage.  I still have every game console I've ever owned, and got them all in good working condition.  As for the music, for Yamauchi, I think this is more appropriate for him.

He's beat this level, and moved on to the next...  :'(

Agreed. May he bash his head into the coin-box of every virgin Peach as he pleases. I don't know where I would be now without having grown up with my NES. :/
