I'm not a large fan of Halo games, but this trailer is just so epic and intense, I love it.

Thoughts?

Wow looks impressive, I like the cimematics. I think it would be pretty fun to play but I don't think it will do as well as the other Halo games.

It is a game... Its just a live action video, for the purpose of promoting it.

I don't get why it has to show the game play, that is not the purpose of this video; its merely just for entertainment and promotional purposes, and it gives you some basic insight of what kind of character you play >.< Plus, there are already alot of other game play trailers out there for it.

Im just the kind of person who does not really care about the fluff. I would like to see what im buying. But most of the time a trailer does show off game play.

You might be showing off a cool idea but I don't care if you have a cool idea. Show me your cool idea with game play so i know what im getting.

I agree its a trailer, i just don't think its a good one.

Kinds of makes me happy a halo movie was not made. it just looks too corny. That is what i think about it.

It means this looks ridiculous. The trailer was all super-serious business, but after years of listening to 12 year olds scream their heads off while playing, I can't take halo seriously.

Oh yeah, I know what you are talking about. - I personally like to think this trailer is more about the campaign/story, not ridiculous kids playing Halo for life :P

Hey that's an opinion. (yeah i do stat the obvious a lot :P) I really like there games a lot and so fare there has not been a halo game that did not meet my expectations for the hype.

But i will say that i have lowered my expectations of halo odst to lower than a normal halo release. It was made by a small team for only a year. Unlike the other halo games that had a big team for more than one years.

Well, that is because they aren't recreating the game. They are taking the already in place Halo 3 engine (Whatever they used, I dunno), and basically just adding some new aspects, story, and some multiplayer. Not a major brand new game. Still looks cool, but it seems like its going to be nearly the same as Halo 3.
