As the sword recoils off the man's forehead and flies back up, in one fluid motion, Chronoas allows it to plant itself into the ground behind him, leaps up, and pole-vaults himself behind the blade, and let's the swing smack harmlessly against the sword.

"You still have time to leave."  Chronoas grumbles loudly.

The green gemstone core glows slightly.

The hammer struck. A resounding boom echoed through the land, heard even through the portal. The force of the blow caused the world to shake violently. In world 1, rocks tumble down the Northeast mountain, fault lines shift. The fire portal begins to hum from the vibrations. In world 2, all is silent. Not a creature stirs. A gaping crater lies smoking from the blow in the Center. Jackabomb lapsed into shock.

With that, Chronoas leapt back into the trees and began moving branch to branch northward, watching the man who attacked him.
